The talk focuses on the neurobiology of learning and experiments that investigate the neural plasticity after cognitive training.  We will introduce the neuroanatomy of learning, language and executive functions.  Contemporary training programs, including games and face-to-face sessions will be discussed during the talk. The effects of these training programs on emotion, attention and self-control are pieces of evidence supporting neural plasticity.  The fMRI results have revealed that focused and increased activations in frontal regions are related with efficient processing and moderate control of the neural networks.
