演講摘要：

  The seminar will discuss the principles of teaching and learning that can be used to refocus the classroom environment from the teacher to the student. Dr. Miller will share his views on how to apply these principles in the classroom to develop students capable of higher order cognition, decision makers and problem solvers. He has been a teacher since 1965 in high schools, colleges and universities and 16 times in Taiwan. He has won numerous awards for outstanding teaching, research and service. He is a Professor Emeritus of The Ohio State University and is currently a Visiting Professor in the Institute for International Human Resource Development, National Taiwan Normal University.
