演講摘要｜

　　 Despite the decades of effort that scholars have put into instilling the value of academic integrity, the many rich and intensive studies on plagiarism in a variety of contexts that have been produced, and the fine-tuned policies that have been clearly written by each academic institute, the issues of academic dishonesty continue to be pervasive and entrenched, particularly within higher education. Whether or not the practice of academic misconduct has reached epidemic proportions globally, the threat or challenge to quality assurance in higher education is tangible. In light of this phenomenon, this talk probes into the complex context of academic integrity and explores issues embedded within theory and practice.
